Best Chase card all around?
« on: May 29, 2008, 02:21:47 AM »
Hi, Does anyone know what might be the best chase card. I'm looking at the Chase freedom which looks pretty good. Someone told me that the Continental Chase card is also pretty good. Can someone please give me some input on this.

Cheers.

They are very different cards, the Chase freedom card has no annual fee to ever worry about and gives a nice amount of cash back.

Continental has an $85 annual fee (which you may or may not be able to avoid) and gives miles.

So, do you want miles or cash back?

The Starwood AMEX is a much better value (free for the first year and just $45 thereafter) because of the wealth of uses and the bonus when transferring Starpoints into airline miles.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

The Starwood Amex is by far the best value. Although I belive the OP is specificly looking for a Chase cc

Well, that's what I am trying to figure out, does the cashback outway the miles. Are the continental miles any good?

I'll spend anywhere from 2000 to 15000 a month. I guess about 50000 throughout the year.

who cares close it befor you the year is up
in other words every two month close wait 30 days then open it again and i think they maybe having a promo check it
if youu get like 50000 and above it could be worth the aannnual fee that you only pay after the year is up

I just checked it out, it's only 20,000 miles. So now the Super question. Is 20000 United better then 20000 Continental??
