i have a confirmed rental with hertz for 3 weeks for $445 in manhattan, march 28 - apr18, does anyone have an idea for a  cheaper option?
thanks
also any ideas on how to get my wife as an additional driver for free.

You can sign up yourself and your wife for usaa and then your wife will be free as an additional driver and you will also get a discount on the rental

the cdp discount from continental is greater than the discount for the cdp from usaa.
do i need to use their cdp in order to get my wife also insured.
does my wife also need to be a member.

i dont' think you need to be a usaa member to enroll #1 Club, you can use any cdp that you're associated with to become part of #1 Gold
