after you spent 25k on the aa red card making you eligible for 3k eqd  is it possible to upgrade to aa silver and spent 50k on your card and make yourself eligible for 6k eqd and combining that with Barclays business aa card that gives you 3k eqd for 25 k spent on the card,  making a total of 12 k eqd.which would get  you to top tier?

The benefits are attached to the FFN, not the CC.

Applied for JB card instant approval, then applied for this and pending. Any chance of approval with recon dept?
Any tricks for approval?

Why shouldn't there be a chance for approval? Barclays is fine with approving 2 cards in one day.

Is Barclay fine with approving 3 apps in one day? 2 personal and 1 biz. I know it depends on many credit factors, but just want to know if Barclay has a general restriction on max approvals within a certain amount of time. Thanks.

I got approved for 2 personal, aviator and miles and more and one business aviator . auto approved for one and called up for the business and one personal. Made me feel i could have cashed in and  gotten a 4th one  through ,being that it felt like a breeze for the other 2.

Is there anyway possible to spend enough to get top tier elite with american by spending 25 thousand each on your personal and business aviator to earn a total of 6k eqd and spending  another 50 to earn a total of 12k when you upgrade the personal to the silver? which i believe is enough for executive platnium.or does barclaycard not allow you to get an additional 6 k on the silver if you already got 3k on the personal red?

Any chance Barclays will claw back AA miles that were already posted? They said they will if they waive the af for me.

I think 60 days from when it's charged.
I paid mine right away and got the bonus on the first statement

Anyone able to get the AF waived just by calling (1st year)?
Seems like people have been having success downgrading and getting the AF refunded. Any issues with Barclays clawing back the points?
