Doee anyone know the options for a 14 hour layover in Vnukovo INTL in Moscow (VKO). I know you can't leave the airport to stay in a hotel without a visa. What are the options for lounges and other amenities? I know people stop here on way to TLV.

I was there twice about a month ago, it's a nice, quite place but nothing really to do there.
Wifi stops after a 1/2 hour, but if you logout and then log back in it's fine.
If you have an Israeli passport you could leave the airport, but with a U.S. passport you can't.

Thanks for the pix. What would I do if I was there for 12 hours? Is it quiet enough to sleep on the chairs? Did you go into any of the lounges?

Good question! $:-\$ I was only there for 4 hours so I took a pillow and blanket from the plane (returned it on the connecting flight) and took a nap, it wasn't bad at all.

I heared that there is a VIP lounge there, but you need either a pass, or someones mercy to get in there.

The lounge is not part off any programs, is pay only

What do you mean it's pay only-you can pay to get in or its only for paid business class tickets? Also, is it before passport control?

Pay to get in, it's around 15/25 I think.
It's airside.

What's the name of the lounge? Also, do you have personal experience with this? I ask because some people online on TripAdvisor thought that you can't pay to get in, it's ovly for ticketed passengers.
And by airside you mean past security right? Just not familiar with the term.

There's a shortage of outlets but if you really look you'll find a few by certain gates and near bathrooms.

that's correct, if you have stuff to charge grab an outlet the second you pass security, because they there isn't enough outlets for everyone.
