The GHK charged $10 when heating up the food?

They delivered my food for free, but they weren't heating them up.

Great TR! I gotta get back to Hawaii soon
Did they have bagels, lox and cc at the free breakfast or only at the one that you were supposed to pay for?

So how many points?

Kind of hard to answer that question for a bunch of reasons...

But... basically, I paid 40K for the flight there and nothing on the way back (as it was a "free one-way").

And the hotel... well, it's complicated  ;)

Had at both.

But, I believe JJ1000 did some research and has determined that GHK recently changed who they use for lox, and it may not have hasgacha. He can fill in.

i thought, due to the dateline issue, the lox doesnt need a hashgacha in hawaii?

Honestly, I can't tell if you're being serious.

But, here it goes: What would the dateline issue have any bearing on the lox?

It took you a long time to see the roosters. We were bombarded by them as soon as we left the rental lot :)

Also, pb&j route is unnecessary.  We do Airbnb/vrbo and bring meat, cheese etc., and prepare what we can beforehand.  Buy a cheap pot/frying pan, and kasher the oven and stove. We eat as well as at home.

How much does it cost for a week's worth of meals x2 from Pom?

We ordered lunch and dinner for 5 days on our trip to Costa Rica. The cost, including delivery in Brooklyn was under $200. Well worth the expense + we had left-overs. Annecdotally, several Hyatts officially charge to heat up KSMLs, including in my experience, HR Indian Wells and Andaz Papayago. I get where they are coming from. F&B is a major source of revenue at these hotels and the mark-up is probaby significant, so they try to recoup what they can with heating and service fees. That being said, I've gotten it waived, or as you did, just stored and heated the meals in-suite, which is more convenient in any event.

That's less than $10 pp per meal! That's accurate?

You're saying it's $20 per meal, and it's big enough for 2 people?
