If you don't mind do siting squashed to the person next to you its fine. If you need some more room its real worth it to pay the extra few bucks for the first 5 rows or shmooze the front desk to see if its empty and they seat you there. Other them that make sure you get a frequent flyer number to pay $15 for your luggage and make you carry on a back pack because they don't charge for back packs as they are not considered a carry on rather a personal bag.   
Also the crew wasn't helpful but not expecting much from them any way.
