LX TLV-ZRH-JFK with overnight 17 hour stopover, will the luggage get transfered or do you need to pick it up in ZRH?
LX gives an option during OLCI to short check bags

I believe I saw on their website that you can check in as early as 23 hours before in the airport, so I assume that it will transfer.

Did anyone ever have an ElAl flight leaving TLV 2 hrs after the zman? Did they give you a courtesy with late check in?

Has anyone flown on XL Airways France (formerly Star Airlines) to TLV?
They have a flight from JFK with a stop in CDG. Total flight time 14 hours.
TIA

From what I understand LY doesn't care to help religious Jews. They have a flight in the Summer when Shabbat ends at 9, that leaves JFK at 9:45.

They just want to be able to say that they don't FLY on Shabbat. Other than that it seems that they don't care.

Once has a Motzei Shabbos flight going for Lag Baomer and the pilot came on and said "Several hundred of our passengers were late, so we will be delayed." Something like 400 were chassidim as one can imagine. Was funny, but he sounded annoyed.

My question is if 2 hrs and 15 min after the zman is to short and if I will arrive a  little bit more then an hour before the flight if they will make me problems.

a little bit more than an hour you should be fine.
I'd suggest checking in online though right after motzai

That would depend on if you're coming from Tzfas or Kefar Chabad

Thanks. That's what I thought too, especially if I'll be flying business or first.

El Al allows you to check in online 40 hours before the flight for flights leaving motzaei shabbos.

I'm trying to book a family of 6 tlv nyc, I found a cheap fare, however it's only bookable 1 ticket at a time (there are a couple of tickets left at this price but when I  try booking all in one booking it errors out and the price almost doubles)
So obviously I have to book 6 itinerary's and book the children as adults (since DOB does not really matter as mentioned on DDF)
My question is if there is any reason not to book it like this. (I'm not asking regardind delays as i will have to make sure they are rebooking us all on the same flight, I'm asking in general  if there is any reson not to book it like this.)
Thanks.

You wouldn't get the child discount. Try with a TA.
