Does British Airways transfer/ hold luggage on a stopover longer than 24 hours?

A friend booked tickets using CSR UR points. He was adding an infant, so he had to book by phone.

They undercharged by a significant amount, and didn't add a fee for the lap child.

The question is, how can he make sure that it is ticketed and booked properly, and that he won't have any issues when he gets to the airport? (the reservation does show up on the airline website)

He can, and will, but it's SAA, who's reps are the epitome of incompetance, cluelessness and misinformation. The term "DROPR" was probably made up because of them.

when looking up the reservation there should be an option either to email summary or view receipt.

My brother just flew TLV to ORD on AA and had no wifi first leg (elal) which wasn't a surprise. Second leg was AA from LHR to ORD and I set him up with my free passes for gogo. Apparently they switched the wifi to Panasonic and gogo doesn't work. Is this a new thing, or am I just way out of it? Is this a temporary thing? Gogos site implies they are still on AA flights...

AA uses Panasonic for Int'l flights.

Update: He got a call from the UR people who realized the mistake. Without him asking, they said they would honor the fare. They cancelled the original booking, rebooked it at the full price, and then placed the points (more than 100k) back in his account. It has now ticketed.

So he essentially got it for free?

Thanks, and thanks for your response yesterday. the booking hadn't ticketed, so there was no receipt to see or email.

If I release a flight that AA is holding for me, does it go straight back into inventory?

Any way to know? It's on UL if that makes a difference.
