Not sure this is right thread to post in so feel free to move if necessary:

2 questions:

Landing in HNL at 11:05 on DL flight. Is a 12:35 flight to LIH enough time to transfer?

If so, the 12:35 flight is a 767 (Random but seems legit) and the 1:11 flight is the regular 717.

Should I just take the 1:11 to avoid the 767 rush of people when I land anyways?

TY

Are you booking HNL-LIH as a separate ticket?

Is a 1:10Hr. connection in FRA flying Lufthansa business enough time to make the connection,
or is it to short and I should book the other choice  which is a 4:45hr connection time?

It's tight, but not too bad. Are they the same itinerary?

Yes, same itinerary, and airline (LH).

I don't want to tell you it will happen, but it can be done if you really do not want to take a 4hr stop. I personally would go with the longer stop. Most likely, if you were to take the short stop, and miss the connection, you would probably be put on the later flight.

If the missed connection was due to the airlines fault (such as incoming flight was delayed) then the airline would re-book you onto the next available flight.
If the missed connection was not due to the airlines fault (such as a long line at passport control that you got stuck in), the airline is technically not required to re-book you onto the next flight.

Correct, which is why I said probably. They often will, but just keep in mind, they can say no.

The later has happened to me @ JFK w/Delta and I was asked to pay a  $50 fee to be put on the next flight

I have twice in my life missed flights, and never paid a penny. The first time was UA from TLV to EWR and I was rebooked on the next flight. The second was AA MIA-ORD and the put me standby for free. All flights were full so my 6:00am flight became 3:40. I did have an option to be confirmed on an earlier flight for $75 though

Have a AA which I booked for a one way some time next week and won't be able to take the flight.
What's my best bet? Try to go for a refund? Or just push it off till I need the flight next?

1) Flying Y class TLV to CAN (a town in China). CX (A350) vs HU (Hainan Airlines - A333) any suggestions?

2) Anyone know if luggage gets transferred in HKG or in PEK?
