CC Approval Pending....Call?

I beg to differ on this whole "call recon right away" thing. True that recon has the ability to approve your app, but they also have the ability to deny your app. If you just let the system do it's thing, alot of times you will get the approval email a couple days/weeks later (especially with Chase business cards, you won't have to deal with answering recon's million questions).
Whenever I'm done applying for cards, I'll always just throw another one in and not call about it to see what happens, and my experiences so far have been pretty good!

I agree 100% about chase biz cards. Their reps are super aggressive.

When I signed up for the Chase Hyatt I also got a 'pending' and I waited and got approved. Maybe I'll wait and see. Can I call after denial for reconsideration?

is this a new thing, every time i do HUCA they just give me the same info and then say we see you called yesterday/earlier today... and it just gets them aggravated bec they feel like your just annoying them.

It has been happening for some time. Maybe wait a week or so and call back.
