Interesting how the terms and conditions excludes gift card purchases (not sure if they can enforce it), however Rite Aid doesn't have that exclusion....... :)

Plenti is the rewards program that lets you earn points in one place and use them at another, all with a single card. Plenti partners  include many of the  places where you shop and spend every day, such as AT&T, Exxon, Macy’s, Mobil, Nationwide, and Rite Aid.  It is not an Amex program per se. also you can also earn Plenti points from shopping at some of your favorite supermarkets that have their own rewards programs, including Bashas’, Food Lion, Harris-Teeter, Hy-Vee, ShopRite, Stater Bros., and Wegmans. Just link your existing store loyalty card to your Plenti account and continue to use it as you normally would.

Received an email today From Macy's that they're switching over to Plenti, and discontinuing their own "Macy's Star Rewards" program.

So my "Macy's American Express" will be changed over.

If I were to use this exclusively for filling up for gas, it will net me 1% back. Is that correct?

Now that there's an offer for 50% that's effectively a value of 1.5¢ per MR (looking at 2,000 mr=3,000) not such a bad price if looking to use the miles elsewhere besides in the sky, saving at the pump is cash in your pocket,

 500 Membership Rewards points = 500 750 Plenti points

Special Offer: Get 50% more Plenti points when you transfer Membership Rewards points through 12/31/2016. Terms apply. See Special Offer Terms*

TRANSFER MEMBERSHIP REWARDS POINTS
Type in the number of points you would like to transfer from Membership Rewards. Membership Rewards points must be transferred in increments of 500.

I guess you figured it out by now, but it's only 1 point per gallon, not dollar.

Where it can make a difference is when buying anything in the store/mart you get 2PPD. Also, if you enroll in their offers it can add up quite nicely.

I have when amex offered a ratio of 200:250 (an example, don't remember the exact amounts) where I transferred to my plenti accnt and used it for mobile/exxon.
