Im the last one who thinks it's okay. But nobody can take away Pete Rose's 4k hits either or Shoess Joe's .375 BA in the 1919 series (where he's accused of conspiring to throw the series) or his .356 career BA (3rd all time).

However, what those 2 were accused of could negatively affect their teams. Brady/Belly are accused of trying to help their teams.

A bit different IMO.

I love how all the pats fans (including Brady's father) are claiming the nfl has a vendetta or framing him or whatever... The idea that the nfl would want to tarnish Brady and the patriots is absurd and completely not logical (besides all the evidence indicating the exact opposite)

I think he did it but there isn't much evidence in this case.

Really?? I don't see how that report is not conclusive. I know we wouldn't be able to convict him without reasonable doubt in court but no unbiased reasonable person can come away from that thinking he's innocent

Did any of the emails say Brady told them to do anything? Like I said I think he did it but weak would be an overstatement to describe the so called evidence.

I don't think the idea that they doctored the balls without orders from him is at all viable.

I am not disagreeing but the NFL is going to need more than that if they consider a suspension.

It is so unviable that i dont think anyoneb tried making such a claim at all during the aftermath. They're whole defense was that it was natural and no evidence the balls wer doctored and that has clearly been disproven

Not true by civil law more probably than not is enough and certainly the nfl has even more leeway. They could suspend him just for not fully cooperating with investigation

The craziest piece of this story I found interesting is Walt Coleman knew that something is up with the Pats playing around with the balls & before the game they dissapeared & he did nothing about it. Hindsight is 20/20 but he was given a briefing about it.

Brady suspended 4 games

Pats lose 1st round pick in 2016, 4th round pick in 2017, and fined $1 Mil.
