I use my business at&t iPhone as a hotspot, no clue how much my allowance is, or how much the plan costs, as my employer pays for it, but you should look into it, might work for you too.
5 GB is childsplay. i use on average 100 GB a month!! i need unlimited!!!
Then get wired internet - Optimum, TWC, Fios etc.
Then be ready to pay your pants off once the market is cleared of Clear! You're in for some surprise.P.S. In your picture to the left of every post you don't look like an internet user at all, let alone 100gb...
You should be able to get Optimum internet-only with a promo rate of 39.99 (clear was 30, right?)

Optimum offers first year $40. I have a modem & wireless router. They have lots of wifi hotspots depending on your location. Were you always connected with Clear or would you get disconnected till the next tower ?
Clear speed is terrible
I believe you can get a verizon mifi for that price unlimited.

With optimum hotspots i might lose the connection depending on the distance between 2. They're trying to have everyone's device double as a hotspot to cut down on that.
