I had a bad experience with 2 driving schools I tried: 1 was a chinese dude who barely spoke English so he didnt understand my questions.
2 was a russian dude who yelled and cursed at me if I dared to ask a question.
Is there a normal driving instructor out there?
Help? Looking to spend about $35/hour or so.

I used a Chinese dude,
9th ave 60th street,
718-483-8398,
he did a good job,
$44 for 1:30 iirc,

I don't remember the exact price I paid (around the $40 mark 3 years ago) but I loved my teacher!

My guy is Brooklyn, I referred him already to tons of people everybody was really happy with him.

It was a couple years ago already but I used Warren auto school. Was extremely happy, patient instructor decent pricing. I think this may be the one ClearThinker mentioned above.

I used a worker by the name David, Russian guy. Phenomenal. Though, IIRC Albert was the instructor for the 5 hr class and was also excellent.
