New Brooklyn Car Rental
« on: January 25, 2011, 07:40:34 PM »
Hi, I have a friend that is iy'h going to be opening up a car rental company in brooklyn. I wanted to hear from the forum what they think? Are there people here or that you know that would want to use it? Do you have any ideas? I think with all the people always asking here about car rentals that there is a need for one. His main fear is that he will not be able to rent his cars on a regular basis.

In order to understand recursion, you first need to understand recursion.

He'd have to be competitive either in price or benefits (i.e. car models, perks etc.).

Does he plan on opening a legit car-rental business?

if he rents to the younger crowd (18-21) he'll have plenty of customers as most of the questions come from there.

He would be competitive with his prices, he is starting small with only a few cars, focus accords maximas and some bmws... and it would be all legit...

He is working on it but under 21 is tough.. but he is also working on the 21-25 through a corporate account... which i would of course supply to the dansdeals followers...

its going to be very hard to compete with the international companies. some of these companies can have very good deals for daily rates....personally if i had a choice btwn ur friend and Hertz (even for a couple dollars more) i would go with hertz (no offense!)

I'm wondering this too. Although the guy from Image (originally Adir) Rent-a-Car seems to (BI"H) be doing pretty well for himself, renting Escalades to ghetto thugs...

Were gonna try to compete and because we dont have franchise fees and the such we should be able to even beat their prices by a little. We will also have nicer cars hopefully. And maybe renting to getto thugs is the way to go... ;-)

who is Image????

A car rental started by a single guy as a way to make side money in 1993 (obviously not legit at the time), now he's got 3-4 locations.
