And who gave that psak?
Motti Illowitz has a song on his CD which, in my opinion, is an exact copy of Ve'afilu Be'hastura. (sigh.) Track 6, titled B'chol Tzar. It has many parallels (the same exact message, the same vibe, the arrangements, the guitar background, it starts in Yiddish and then goes to Hebrew, etc.) It has potential to make it big, though I honestly hope it doesn't make it as big as Hastura. That song is coming out of my ears!
So were you עובר the איסור דאורייתא of גזל or did you stay off of the site?
@Yehuda57, that is the best post ever.
I didn't go on the site, but only because by the time i finished taking the screenshot and sharing it here, I remembered I'm not in the least bit interested in reading about a shwekey concert.
BUMP, finally listened to the whole song, I don't think it'll make it, too much yiddish and not nearly as simple as Be'afilu Be'hastura
and I don't know if enough people bought the CD. Especially with that yellow campy cover. (I told my friends: "Do Motti Illowitz a favor and don't judge his album by its cover")
Cute, I'm actually really enjoying the song though
Baurach shalom's CD came out already "בשבילי נברא העולם"
It's not on any of the JM websites: MostlyMusic.com , NigunMusic.com , or Amazon. The cover is many times released before the album. The sample is already on MostlyMusic.com.
