for family members down the line. so far i was operating under the impression that if they had the amex PRG card, they wouldnt be eligible to get the bonus for the personal plat for life. it appears it is not the case... thus opportunities.

if i recall correctly, at one point the T&Cs specifically pointed out that you couldnt get the bonus if you had plat, or the gold or green card in the last 12 months. (i.e. precluded for having cards from the same "family")

i'm assuming that they changed this once they went to "once in a lifetime"? or am i confusing personal and biz cards here?

Once in a lifetime is a personal card. Business is either 12 months from closing/downgrading or finding an app with no 12 month language

business is 12 months and only for the same product, so if you have the platinum you could still get the gold within the 12 months.

same product family . Anyone who doesn't remember that has not been around very long .
