Redemptions over $1200 remain the same

http://blog.rewardscanada.ca/2015/06/td-travel-rewards-visas-to-lose-value.html?utm_source=phplist&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=489

Even if you redeem more than $1200 it remains the same only for the amount above $1200 not on the entire redemption.

Maybe you can get them to reopen the account if it's within thirty days or something.

If anyone still wants to jump on the wagon before the referral terms are modified as well and needs a referral Please PM me

Amex Canada recently copied its US counterpart and stopped backdating the cards' Member Since date. They also set an annual limit on how many referrals you can do (15 per year). Did they put a fork in churning as well?!

Old terms:
Quote
1. Offer subject to change. Account must be in good standing. To qualify for the 25,000 Bonus Aeroplan Miles, you must have at least $500 in net purchases posted to your account on or before your three month anniversary date. Please allow up to eight weeks from the date the bonus miles were earned for the bonus to be awarded.
New Terms:
Quote
This offer is only available to new American Express® AeroplanPlus®* Gold Cardmembers. For current or former American Express® AeroplanPlus®* Gold Cardmembers, we may approve your application, but you will not be eligible for the welcome bonus.

I already have the SPG card. Doesn't make sense to apply for another card yet, because I won't have enough time to churn, right?

if by bank account you mean paying your bill online with someone else bank account. I can confirm that it works and hasn't triggered any problems.

In case anyone needed a Reminder until September 30, 2015, get 25% more Avios when you transfer your Membership Rewards® points to Avios.

For example:
• 1,000 Membership Rewards points = 1,250 Avios
• 30,000 Membership Rewards points =  37,500 Avios
• 50,000 Membership Rewards points =  62,500 Avios

Has anyone gotten the MNBA Alaskan credit card? Is it hard to get approved? Can you get multiple apps? Is it linked to the US version?

no it's not linked. Yes, you can get more than one though I haven't done it a year. Their reps are a bit clueless though. It an be a pita.

Is there any better signup bonus other than 25k with $75 AF? How can I pool together different accounts living at the same address?

Has there been a better signup bonus in the past? Is it worth waiting to signup?
