i dont know if this is official or a glitch, but ba avios dont seem to be charging fuel surcharger on qantas international flights. mel - nyc priced out at 54500 avios and $98 !

I don't know the veracity of this, but this blogger claims that Qantas recently moved fuel surcharges into the base fares; a consequence would be no YQ on awards I guess?
