Comfortable Bluetooth Headset Recommendation
« on: July 06, 2015, 11:13:30 PM »
I would rather want bluetooth since it will save my phone battery but if you know about a good non bluetooth one please share as well.

I'm currently using this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006PP3ZK6, it kills my ears. Is it normal? Or my ears are small and I need to find a petite headset.

TIA.

Do you want them for music or only talking?

And any price limits?

Mostly talking. I wouldn't spend anything crazy but I would spend whatever it costs to get a good one.

How about something like this? You'll definitely get some looks but I know a few people that swear by it.

Wire isn't loose and I'm sure sound quality is better on a Harman Kardon

I am looking for something comfortable for my sensitive ears, would that do the job? I am not really looking for the best sound quality, rather for comfortability.

Honestly I've never tried it - from the ravings I've heard I'd say yes but I dont know how sensitive we're talking...

I've had both. First off I will say that sometimes people have issues hearing me but it may be their phones. When I have work calls it's OK, but when I talk to my wife in the car it's in and out sometimes.
Secondly the reason I have the infinim is because the wire on the old model ended up fraying the from hanging out. I love the retractable cord. I can't talk to music quality as I rarely listen to music, it's mostly for podcasts and movies. That being said it is really good for those, and it isolates sound nicely. I use it on NYC subways without any issue. I never have it at the loudest volume.

Can you specify what you mean when you're saying that you had both

Thanks. So you're basically saying that when using for phone there is no major difference?
I think the infinim are a bit better, but don't compare to dedicated bluetooth for talking on phone. It is very comfortable, bot on my neck and in ear. I often wear it all day without noticing it. It also fits nicely under my shirt so its not so visible.
