Too expensive :(

Until I learn how to MS $200k in a year I can't afford it.

Is it possible that the PGGM thread be taken here?

It's not there.  I looked.

You misunderstood me also. I was suggesting that instead of simply deleting these sort of things, they can instead become "restricted" to less trustworthy noobs.

I don't think hat tips are necessarily an accurate measure. Some people may be able to post about deals, but others may have better knowledge of programs, hacks, etc. and are able to communicate them effectively.

Its a calculation of hat tips, posts, threads started, date joined, and active log time.
You may not hold me responsible for any actions taken that were recommended from my account or username.

I'm relatively new here, so I probably should not be the one talking. It occurred to me that maybe there can be an option to hide threads from non logged-in users or users with less than a certain amount of posts, so there can be less risk of having things killed.
There is an option to allow only certain users to see a thread on most forums btw.

I highly doubt that it's being employed here, as I've never seen or heard of an access-denied landing page.

Its may employed here. I think I've seen hints of it in the RSS feed.
And you dont see it if you dont have access, it wont be in any feeds.
They probably have threads for moderators only.

What do you mean by "hints"?

And is it really possible that they're so careful not to post links from a hidden forum into a public one?

I've seen things that where worded in normal sentences that didnt have a location on the forums. Could be just coding though...

Yes, it could be in a separate topic.

Wasn't there a time where Dan offered if you send him a copy of your drivers license he'd give access to certain threads... seem to remember hearing something like that from an original ddfer. ..

I see, though it's always useful to check the status of the poster. IMO your status is technically high enough to land you into one of those groups if they exist. If you're not par of one, I'd bet that they either don't exist or are for special groups handpicked by mods.
