was there last year, nice le meridian, rooms are a bit small although the view can't be beat,we were upgraded to  a suite with a nice sized porch, lounge chairs! nice amount of restaurants, minyanim within 20 minutes walking distance. you can take a 5 minute tram to the train station and make a day trip to Monaco or Cannes, both around 20 minute train rides away, both beautiful places, and in the summertime they have a bit more kosher food options as well there! really a great vacation spot! although i must warn you,it is a very populated tourist destination in the summer,so availability is a bit limited. good luck and any questions let me know!!!!

also, all tourist attractions are all along the coast, our concierge was very helpful! In monaco they have a daily changing of the guards, cute actually and the entire area is walkable, just allot of steps, although well worth it!

After DME if we do it at all. Although there is a slight possibility we will be go in Spring as well to France and then try to get there then instead of during the summer trip.

Can anyone comment on whether it is worth it to stay in Monaco in one of the resort palace hotels vs. staying in one of the small chateau's in a coastal village on the riviera? I am having trouble figuring out what I want to do.

I will be there next shabbos So i will let you know. We will be staying at the Le Meridien and there is a chabad that offers shabbas meals about a 10 minute walk from the Hotel.

Check out http://www.habadnice.com for information

If anyone as been there and could offer any tips on things to to, which restaurants...... it would be appreciated.
