I'm fairly certain the battery meter in the picture is from a camera, just sayin...
I'm referring to my video camera's battery.
Many camera makers lock down the "chip" that decodes the remaining voltage in the battery to let then sell theirs for $50+.
So 3rd party "hacked/chipped" batteries don't always get the "math" exactly, leading to the humorous situation described in the picture to occur in real life.
It is annoying, but far better than the camera dying suddenly mid-take.
