Android can be rooted and programmed. Not too simple depending on the phone

Don't have phone yet, I need a plan which I can use as a hotspot, I'd take the $39 plan which includes 1GB data,
So you're saying with some phones I'll be able to tether if rooted?

Good,
So as long as I didn't reach the 1GB of data ($39 plan) and I use foxfi I should be fine?
Just wanna make sure before I jump on it.

Does anyone know if the Blackberry Classic for Verizon will work on PP? Or for that matter does the Q10 work?

No PP does not support BB service. Your best bet would be to get the T-mobile one and use Simple mobile they are the only Prepaid service I know of that supports BB service

Which one is it? Will everything work, like email picture messaging etc, and just not BBM or nothing will work?

Email but not BBM I am not sure if whatsapp works or not I know before the Q10 its worked off biz.
In other words you won't get your emails on the second they come in you would have to wait until your device does a send and receive. Like I said I would recommend simple mobile. If you live in bp you have Great service.

I thought so as well.
"Users have been asking, is BlackBerry done with BIS? Do I need a BIS plan with BlackBerry 10? Short answer: NO you do not need a specific BlackBerry data plan on your BlackBerry 10 device which will save you on fees. Tim W. from the BlackBerry Dev Blog noted that the OS has be configured to run without BlackBerry Data Service.

What does “no BIS required” mean? What this means is you can now use a BlackBerry without subscription to additional BlackBerry data plans. BlackBerry Internet Service would serve of no additional benefits to users of BlackBerry 10."
