Yup time to shut down.
It's not comparable to the trick it thread on FT where tons of routes are discussed, vs. here where its the only FD discussed on the forums on the single most lucrative route which is most flown here and causing all the attention and will be instantly abused and killed.
Specially once MMS gets up and sees this and will give a full tutorial.

Because Usually when your coding a FD, you don't spell out the cities. You'll either say C1-C2 or codes like sushi, Apple , the lady....
You also don't say the airline I.e. Triangle or the bride

im giving this 2 days until the Bowtie sees it and puts it on his main site.

While I want this thread shut, I can understand why Dan doesn't want to.
Dan has zero interest, personal or financial, against people abusing FD's. That's not how he travels. It would only be as a favor to so-called friends who do have what to lose.

He requested us NOT to speak about certain subjects at certain times. Those of us who heard his words respected him. We are losing out by respecting him. Those who he respects may want to convey this to him in a RESPECTFUL manner. Not in public.

The discussion over share vs don't share is a long one. People have weighed in on both sides. The fact that some people can't see the other side, and RESPECTFULLY disagree, is a real shame.

Either way, should we listen to him?

Someone who swears, insults, gets angry and upset over an opinion that alot of people understand and yet he in his seemingly self centered world doesn't understand? The same person who hasn't been too active in awhile?

Sounds a little chutzpadig to me for someone to have a tichyas hamasim to come back and tell people what to do.

He may have said it in a way that you or I never would, however there are MANY people who requested the same thing before him.

The OP found this FD, it's up to him to share or not share.
He decided to share it with clues, that's fine with me.

Honestly I think this thread shows how selfish many of the experts & TAs are over here.
No FD is ever shared on this forum by any of these experts, no matter how coded it is.
No helpful info about how to find FDs is shared here either.

These same people are defending the trick it thread on FT, but never post anything about FDs on ddf unless it's criticizing a guy who has all the rights in the world to share everything.

I would compare a thread like this to one that talks about churning credit cards. They're both not "violating" rules, but we don't want them to get killed so we request to get the thread deleted. The only difference is, for credit cards you have a personal interest in the fact of them closing it down as opposed to this you don't care as much.

just an fyi but you people complaining make it even easier to figure the whole thing out. FD was never mentioned in the original thread. What FD stood for was mentioned much later in the thread by someone complaining and saying its dead. Then people say its all over some blogs. All you complainers just made it much bigger then it could have been.
