For starters:
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3

Link to "Trick-it" thread on FT, Good Luck!

Booking: "Airline's own site is usually best. It just simply won't work there most of the time, hence the need for OTAs. And some of the smaller OTAs have employees doing manual checks of their tickets, so gotta be cautious there, too." (Moishebatchy)

See, this is precisely why booking FD's is NOT for the unwashed masses!!!

Here, let me make this nice and clear for you: when booking a FD, you CANNOT call the airline for ANY reason. You cannot call to add an infant, you cannot call to order kosher meals, you cannot call to request seats, you cannot even call to check if your flight is running on time!!!! No human eye (belonging to an airline employee) can ever see your ticket, period. If it cannot be done online, then you cannot do it at all. The risk is too great. Capische?

Oh, and as far as changes/cancellations are concerned... YOU CANNOT CANCEL A FUEL DUMP TICKET. EVER. Even if it's cancel-able online, because online cancellations are often manually reviewed by human auditors. You spent $450 on a cheap ticket to Israel and now your work schedule changed? That's too bad, you're gonna have to eat the $450 loss and let your ticket go into the garbage. If you try to cancel, your greed in saving $450 can trigger the cancellation of tens of thousands of dollars of other people's fuel-dumped tickets. Think I'm exaggerating? I've seen it happen with my own eyes.

NOW do you people understand what I mean by the "dark side of FD"?!

And NOW do you see why we don't like when the newbie, "gimme a cheap ticket to Israel!!!!" crowd gets a hold of these?! Let me tell you, when someone from that crowd gets a hold of these fares and books his family of 10 people for $4,500 total, and then they have to cancel the trip for some reason, I GUARANTEE you he will not resist the temptation to cancel and get his $4,500 back. He WILL cancel to get his money back, and he WILL get the dump killed for many other people. And THAT is a big part of why veterans don't like it when newbies get their hands on this stuff.

So now that this is an official trick-it thread....
I see many C1-C2 's with a BF under a dollar!! Not sure if any are EoE allowed though

Someone mentioned in another thread that all fares for that carrier are structured that way at least for above routing

The problem with this thread is as follows: if you post in it, everyone thinks you're an expert and non-stop PMs are sure to follow.

You want to be spoon-fed?
This coming from someone that feels everything should be handed on a silver platter or do I have you confused with someone?

Nope. But I never said "silver platter". I'm actually a big fan of how things were originally done in this thread. (I mean besides all the distractions). This is much better than "Please Delete". (and also I agree a FD is much different than some slightly advanced ms) Putting it vaguely out there allows us to learn.
Ftr, I had no clue what EoE was, but my first Google search returned results.

Oh, and I meant post above sarcastically. Probably should of added emoji. My bad

My apologizes as I must have you confused with this guy.  :)
The general rule on DDMS (cmiiw) has been and is (with a few exceptions) if it is already shared publicly, it's fair game. We have all benefited from the main site and see no reason why the forums should be tighter.
Oh, and this UPS crap to distract every serious thread you don't like is just unrespectful and ungrateful. You are (besides classifying yourself as pompous "elites", which you're not, no matter what your post count says), actively destroying a useful forum. I call for anymore UPS posts outside JS to be deleted. If you don't like a post PM the OP and/or a Mod. No reason to trash threads.

I can't find it anywhere but there was once a post about fd where someone was answering what they are and his ingenious explanation was:
There are two types of planes
Those that travel on fuel and those that are powered by manure.
If you are really lucky you can get one that is powered by both
That is a fuel dump.
I believe this is the best explanation of a FD...

If im not mistaken its when Batchy fills his tus tus up with diesel and then has to flip it upside down to dump the fuel.... bec his tus tus only takes 89 unleaded

EoE?

Some tickets have fares that won't allow a 3X, for instance. Need to check the fare rules

You're right, everyone does want to start somewhere. And that place is at the bottom. Then you work your way up from there.
Maybe you should give credit to the person who sung those lyrics beforeyou thought them up on your own. A nice jewish boy from YYZ.
Fair warning - Any PMs sent in response to forum posts are fair game for ridicule in public.

First, I found what I think is a great candidate fare, (which are posted openly in other forums), just don't post the 1x/3x if you are so lucky to find one
Jfk-mxp $50 bf $500 yq
Good luck

I'm looking to shave off some YQ going from the big Apple  (specifically the one that was assassinated) to the land flowing with milk and honey. Can anyone help?

(was that good enough code for the n00bs to not figure it out)?
