Author Topic: Amazon Fire Phone - 32GB - 4G LTE (AT&T Unlocked) W/ Prime $125 via ebay (Read 8967 times)

Jury's still out. Seems okay after I turned it into a regular Android, but I only used it a bit on WiFi.

I ordered a $7 prefunded Simple Mobile sim (nano), so when I get it and activate it, I'll bl"n report.

I'm used to cheap phones, so even if I like it, it doesn't mean someone who uses high end phones will.

Pcgeek was right. Google Play Store doesn't work properly.

I think there is a workaround where you can prevent the latest upgrade from updating and then it works properly

8 ) In order to avoid future problems, you should turn off auto update for the Amazon store, which you probably won’t be using anymore.

To do this, go to Settings >Applications > Manage the settings for individual Amazon Applications on your phone. Open Appstore and disable Automatic Updates.

I thought the problem was Play Store updating itself.

Anyhow, the native email app is horrible (unless I just haven't figured it out yet) and the gmail app is very buggy.
