The Congressional Budget Office on Monday projected that the number of uninsured people would grow by 14 million in 2018 under the Republican ObamaCare replacement bill, with that number rising to 24 million by 2026.

First of all, I don't know much about this bill, but it doesn't sound very good to me.

Secondly, of course any changes to the insurance market will mean that some people will benefit and some will be hurt. That is why emotion is a very bad way of deciding policy. The question is what is best for the country in general.

With the ACA some lost the doctor of their choice. With this ACA light you won't have to worry about choosing your doctor because millions won't have insurance.

Some? And some lost the plan they liked also. And some also had their premiums and copays double over the past few years. As long as it's only 'some' right?

2) so it's only a bad thing if some people loose insurance but not if the entire population pay way more in premiums and copays than they used to, many to the point where people can't afford it anymore

That may have been the "emotional" argument against it, but the main issue (in my opinion), is that people who are "covered" are paying so much and have deductables that are so high that they would be better off without insurance (or a plan that only covers catastrophic sickness/injury).

Also, how many of those 14 million are people who don't want insurance, and only have because of the ~~fine~~ tax?

1 - That is true.
2 - To cover more people it is going to cost more. Just simple math.
