I know it would take forever but they need to vote on these things one at a time instead of lumping them together. Then they cant blame each other. Well they can but you will be able to see right through it.

I assume that you are discussing DACA and immigration reform. Those need to be connected since to many they are dependent upon each other.

I am talking about everything. DACA does not need to be linked to immigration reform. What does building a wall have to with if the DACA's get to stay. It doesn't, it is just a bargaining chip.

There are many who are open to DACA but are concerned that it will become an incentive for more illegal immigration. They are willing to enact DACA only if steps are taken to prevent the numbers from exploding.

Say you are voting on A, B, and C, 40% off voters are an immediate no on the whole concept, 30% vote on A, and B is the best combination, while 30% say A, and C is, everyone will agree you need either B or C to have A function, yet if you split up the voting you'll have A alone, which everyone would vote against, but if you vote for A, and B as one you'll get 60% yes.

Separate issues but they link them as a bargaining chip. Just like the D's will use the funding of the government as a bargaining chip.

I have seen reports where net immigration is negative. Something I give Trump credit for but the gullibles will keep up the mantra I would be against Trump finding a cure for cancer.

Meh, they were saying it when the Dems had all the power too. It is a position taken when there was no legislation on the table. It is a position taken by some uninvolved in the legislative process. Above that it makes sense. Just because you don't take that position doesn't mean it is non-existent.

Never said it was non-existent. Said they don't need to be linked. The reason they are linked is because of a bargaining position.

Before we can even think of allowing them to stay, we need to make sure it's not adding another incentive for more illegal immigration. The best way to do that is border security and immigration reform. The democrats refuse to allow better border security and immigration reform (The only reason I see - but please CMIIW - is because they want more immigrants who will overwhelmingly support their agenda of government sponsored free stuff)
