You claim some of us don't understand the rules. When you seem to not understand is when you are in FULL control you can also change the way things work. Like right now the D's can't even bring a 2 year budget bill to the floor because they have no control. Just like the CHIP bill that passed the house but R's have been sitting on it for the last three months. The D's yesterday put forth a bill to make sure the military is paid during this insanity. The R's killed it. So who is against the military?

You don't need to save anything. Just look at 2013. Both sides have now flipped positions. The difference is the D's were not in FULL control in 2013.

If the only way is to kill the fillibuster and there is consensus that doing so is not the right way to proceed then we are forced to deal with the alternatives.
