Trump won't handle anything better than anyone. I literally believe that there are at least 300 million Americans who would be a more competent president than Trump.

Trump wouldn't handle anything better. Like the name of this thread, both candidates are poison. Hillary will give us another 4 years of Obama, and Trump doesn't know his head from his tuches.

For me the question is, stick with more of the same garbage, or risk handing the nuclear codes to a thin-skinned blowhard who doesn't listen to anyone but himself.

I don't know, maybe Trump will surprise us and be a good president, but the risk is terrifying.

Faith is a little too strong a word here (especially when talking about politicians).

I would say that I am confident that HRC would appoint radical leftist to positions (cabinet and SCOTUS) who have a clear agenda to move this country in a certain (mostly social) direction, and I am confident that she [might not have to, but her appointees] will definitely act relentlessly and maliciously to move the country in that direction.

Trump OTOH is a flexible slick businessman. I don't have any faith (or for that matter confidence) in what he will do. But I think there's more of a chance to get diverse appointments that might lead the country in a better direction (and not an entire cabinet and SCOTUS working in unison to redefine the social values of this great country of ours).

I actually think Ben Carson helping shape education policy might be good (would have loved to see Ted Cruz in some kind of justice department or even SCOTUS position, but I think he killed that possibility for himself).

I would instinctively say no, but man after having that much power waved in front of him it's hard to imagine someone with such an ego could stay away from politics too long.

I think Cruz can't be called toast, it's more like erev shabbos cholent. His "vote your conscious" stand will pay off in the future, if it pays off.

Ryan and Rubio may be burned by supporting Trump.
