So how much MR->BA did/are you transferring?

For last minute flights BA cant be beat. I dont care how many CM points you have.

Plus CM doesnt have the same easy cancellation policy you get with BA even when booked in advance.

I like the flexibility of the Avios that you dont have with CM points. Dont know about others, but  I have a hard time booking tickets in advance.
For me thats the real value. Back in my Pre DD days, by the time i was sure that i wanted to fly, the costs were prohibitive. granted, I learned a thing or two since then but still, I love the flexibility.

Valid point! Some hate to find no availability and would trade the 7 day advance booking for getting to pick the exact time and date they want.

OTOH, i've been having a very hard time finding BA availability from BOS (to ORD, or Baltimore/Washington, or NY), and have ended up booking with CM points most usually, even when booking several weeks out.
