What problems are people having installing them. Seemed so simple when I did it. Couldn't figure out where you can mess up

Maybe your cabinets are newer than mine

. I had a hard time finding a spot where both pieces would fit.

The instructions are confusing, though.

Way to know is if the magnet has a logo on it.

Probably the older ones. The magnet has circles on it - is that the logo?

Nope that's the older version, the new one has baby faces on it.
(Don't worry it works exactly the same).

I updated the instructions as I thought they may be confusing.

Got it. So maybe put the new instructions up on the product page? That way if someone's using the old ones they can find the instructions up there. I know I went back to amazon.com to look for help installing them.
