All types of UR points are still combinable.
You can combine TO how many accounts you want however each Card can only ACCEPT from 1 Card that is not in your profile.
(you can do Card A to Card B than Card B to your Card )
It has to be a spouse or partner [chase did not close any account in the past year for combining points from others. correct me if I am wrong]

Transferring to Airlines/Hotels
Sapphire preferred can only have you and 1 additional user linked to your UR account. might reset after a year but not sure
Ink plus/bold can have 6 employees linked to your UR account after the 6th you'll get an error didn't try yet to putpac it might work.

Chase UR point transfer to AU only
« on: November 13, 2015, 02:02:38 PM »
Just got the following SM from Chase on my Ink Bold
We are making changes to the Chase Ultimate Rewards® point transfer program.
Here are a few things you need to know:

  • Starting November 15th, when you transfer points to participating frequent travel programs, you can only transfer points to yourself or an owner of the company who is listed as an authorized user on your card account.
  • If you previously saved your frequent travel program numbers on Chase Ultimate Rewards, you will need to reenter them.
  • Please make sure the name on your Chase account matches the name on your frequent travel program accounts.

Huh? If they actually enforce this you wouldn't be able to sell the points or even to transfer to friends & family.

Seems like this is better because now as long as they are an AU on the business card, you are in the clear to transfer to them.

The problem is that it can only be an owner of the business, which means if you try to add more than one they may ask you for proof, which is different than Amex which allows you to translate to any additional user

How would you add an owner to the card without a HP?
Except if it means employee, which I doubt they'll ask for proof.

What's the difference between an employee card and an authorized user? I'm on the Chase ink website now.

My card is under my wife's business and I'm an AU. Since it's her business does this mean we can't transfer points to my airline accounts?

It is  bad and a trick to limit churns.

Add your wife as AU so she can't get the new card . that's why the imposed the rule to deny chase cards if you have 3 or more inquiries in a year.

No HP to add an AU.
