« on: November 23, 2015, 06:50:42 PM »
I searched and did not see a thread....

I logged onto my account today and got a message saying my account was closed.... i personally did not do it so i called up and they told me it was done on their end due to "account usage not being in accordance to T&C"

anyone experience this/ have any advice? currently on the phone with them

You linked your barclay card to serve? As a debit?

Has nothing to do with citi funding. Read above.
He linked his card to serve and was loading that way.

I'm guessing softcard.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

He isn't sure, if that's what it is. It also maybe that they are getting stricter in general too. Maybe Citi funding will trigger something....

Might be.
I paid a miles & more card I manage with a checking account that had no funds by accident and they shut the card down immediately no phone call no questions asked, I don't think other banks do that.

Same and somehow my account continued to let me.... And then all of a sudden no warning.
After 30+ minutes on the phone the manager told me the next person above is the office of the president. So I can either write/fax them.
She couldn't dig up any details besides that it was closed due to "spending patterns"

I think thats your definite answer then.
But why the serve which is minimal costs as opposed to citi funding? That's the Q. Maybe its something with the coding of the transaction.

Serve pends as CA and posts as purchase on Barclay?

Serve does not pend as CA on Barclays. Lots of people load Serve with the Arrival with no problems. Did you pay your bill with a money order or something else this past month?

Did you use the card for purchases other than Serve loads?
