Great pics! Thanks. Did having a rear facing seat bother you at all?

No. Not an issue at all.

Ok. Next update. *Be warned, getting lazy*

Besides an uneventful flight from Sydney to Abu Dhabi, there was not that much to write about. Pictures do most justice. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I'll answer them.

Are you kidding me??? It's only the world's most talked about first class...

(CX and SQ don't have the novelty factor)

Well without the constant food, Champagne, or lounging in the lounge there doesn't seem that much to write about.

Spoiled brat.
But I kinda agree.
Though I got a solid 8 hour sleep into that 14 hour flight. Oh was that geshmak.

Continuing. Abu Dhabi visit here I come.
- - - - - - - - - -

Landing at Abu Dhabi (AUH) around 5:30/6:00 am and my next flight not until 12:30 am, I had nothing planned and deciding to start planning my day. I headed to the arrivals lounge where I chilled for about 2 1/2 hours, had something to drink, shower, and make plans.

I soon debated to make a hotel booking for the day to just relax and get some work done. Wanting to check in right away and not wait till 2 or 3 pm I called the hotel (Aloft) to check whether they had a room available and if yes, would I be able to check in this early. First call, no issue. They had a room available and would be able to give it to me right away. I soon made the reservation for 4,000 SPG points and headed there via Uber.

Checkin was uneventful along with anything else. Except, for the following to upsetting notices.

It was soon around 11, and after relaxing for a bit, not 2pm, I headed out to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. One sentence: That place is huge, stunning, and exquisite. You will probably not see anything like that anyplace else like it.

After the mosque, I got an Uber and headed back to the hotel where I ended up doing some work and falling asleep.

Before I knew it, my phone was ringing with my friend whose flight got delayed. Why must all my friends call me when they have flight issues. Grrr  >:( >:( . After helping him, I headed back to the airport for my continuing flights.

And on that note, to be continued...

Continuing. AUH to TLV:
- - - - - - - - - -

Just a quick small little post. Nothing to special here. Just trying to speed this along.

My flight from AUH-AMM. My previous A380 younger sibling.

My flight from AUH-AMM. My previous A380 younger sibling.

EY A320 J seat.

Drink service on RJ from AMM-TLV. Choice between Apple and Orange handed out before takeoff.

The AMM-TLV was a nice and quick flight. Besides for the two air marshals on board I didn't notice anything too special.
