I'm not sure if Google Flights is the right tool to search this, but I only see dates until Feb, nothing after that. And even until Feb, there are very few dates (maybe 10-15 in total) that price as $109.

There are much more. You should be looking at one way segments, not roundtrip. This fare was around for a while, but it looks like availability is a bit expanded.

of course, i only booked bc priceline i can cancel til monday
i give myself about a 3% chance at convincing my wife to not take both kids

United and Delta just dropped their prices to $137 round trip NYC-MIA. I tried 01/30-/01/31-02/03.

And Spirit is $110 round trip
