Canada Goose
« on: December 12, 2015, 06:42:50 PM »
I know we're having a delayed winter this year, but I've heard Canada Goose has unparalleled quality for warm winter coats. Anyone know of any deals? Or any alternatives with good deals?

Bought a north face Brooklyn jacket for my wife last winter for $194 from some random online retailer (sunny sports). Rather spend that than ~$700 on a Canada goose

Don't see why anyone in NY would pay that much for an ugly coat. It doesn't get cold enough to benefit from it here over a $200 coat IMO.

I got one last week here in the states last week but just returned it and will be buying it from a Canada company. Its the same price up there but because of the exchange rate comes out to about $200 cheaper.

And the best part.. I'm buying it from the Nordstrom store in Vancouver, and paying in Canadian Dollars but its shipping but a store in Washington. Gotta love putting exchange rates to your advantage.

Can't compare the two. Canada Goose is way warmer.

I came to this thread to share complaints about the Canada Geese that flood the parks and make a mess.  NY should have 'shochet day' where we come with nets and haul them off for supper.  They'd probably be tough, but we can keep the feathers for down coats.  :D
I hope you all stay warm this winter.

30% off would bring it to $577 before cashback.
I tested it and it's 15% off which brings it to $701 before cashback.
Or $638 after 9% cashback.

Does anyone know the prices of their coats in Canada? Maybe I'm wrong, but at the moment where the Canadian dollar is holding, wouldnt it make sense to buy a CG coat in Canada?
