Best Touch Typing Website?
« on: December 21, 2015, 01:56:43 PM »
A friend recommended Keyby.com

Anyone have any other recommendation?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

I used "TouchTyping"; a windows app. I think it costed ~$4-5, but was very happy. Worth every penny. It has a beginners and advanced courses.

Don't like?
Mavis Beacon is a downloadable software, maybe op wants a website. In my opinion any website is good enough. It's just the practice that's important.
My Tapatalk notifications don't always work.

I've used only Mavis beacon, I found it very slow, IME the way to learn was just practice

My point was you need to learn the concept then practice. I don't think the idea if it has to be slow

I type pretty well without punctuation and capitalization and am trying to add that into the mix. The websites I tried all seem to add them all in one shot instead of one at time. Aside from this issue I really like www.keybr.com
