Weird, you're right, that link shows it with bluRay... I wonder if we could hack the link to get bluRay and i5 @ $529. Or maybe buy the bluRay and send the screenshot and request a Core i5, what do you think?

so weird.. i posted it and than i dunno what happnd.. weird
anyhow i purchased it and i look back now and it was icore 3.. weird.. i thought i also thought i saw 5... anyhow i just print screened the other link and i will call them up b4 the process it cus well once i get it itll be to complicated to send it back... so well c if i get the bluRay and the i5...

Dell's middle name should be bait-and-switch.

What does your email confirmation say? If it doesn't say i5 contact them immediately and try to sort it out or get the order cancelled. The deal is still live and I've provided a screenshot.

im already considering combining screen shots

You're stealing from a slimy company who practices bait-and-switch. If they have one item number that keeps changing, they're asking for it.

It's likely you can call, say the truth, show the screenshots and get a bluRay drive for your Core i5.

i actually have my dell comp almost 4 yrs n never had a problem.. but lately e/o has problems with them... i wud never buy 4 myself... i sell them here in israel- so dell is a big name here and this comp goes for 5000 nis- almost 1400$... so trying my luck!

1) I think they're Indian.
2) They might come across as morons due to the laguage/culture barrier.
3) even if they are actually morons, you shouldn't blame that on their nationality.

i was sent to 6 diff people so far- and got hung up on once. but im still pursuing and i think this woman im speaking to now is helping me... and im not blamin them for being so stupid. i blame for dell for makin me deal with them.

That's usually my problem with offshore CS. They are told to stick to a script and are not empowered at all.
The language barrier just makes matters worse.
