Due to the inability to search online and the countless times theses questions are asked, here is a thread where everyone can share their experiences and make a wiki.
I'll start,
Andaz 5th Ave=Splash suite
Hyatt Regency Newport RI= Lighthouse Wing Bi-Level Suite
Park Hyatt Zanzibar= Park Suite King
Hyatt Regency Dusseldorf= Regency Suite King
Hyatt Times Square New York= Executive Suite

According to a Hyatt phone rep, "because it's an all suite hotel, that's the room they offer for DSU's".

Not sure the title is what you're after, as most people here will push for a further upgrade and FWIU you want the default DSU suite listed here?!

For example: Grand Hyatt Kauai - default DSU suite is the Garden View Suite. Though I got them to upgrade us to the Ocean View Suite.

The point of this thread and wiki is to know which suite needs to be available in order to use a DSU.

Correct, the default suite is what I'm after. That is what most people will get. This isn't about negotiation skills

Although it seems to be implied here, ill just let everyone know that a manager at andaz 5th avenue told me explicitly that the splash suite is the standard suite they give for DSUs

Yup. I'd say that there is possibly the most data points for that hotel on this forum out of all Hyatts
