What about ילבש שחורות?
are you asking sincerely because you want to know, or because you think R' Moshe feinstein forgot an ofene gemara?
the answer is that that gemara is talking about someone who means leshem shomayim...

I'm not cv trying to say that he forgot the gemara I'm asking because it's seemingly contradictory. Iirc the gemara says ואל יחלל שם שמים בפרהסיה.

Funny, I happened to read shu"t Beis halevi chelek 2:1 today where he is mechadesh that even though we pasken that a choshud to do one aveirah is not choshud to do other aveiros, if the action one is doing is a maaseh avaira one is choshud on everything.

He is coming to be meyashev the Rambam that a ganav who shechts the shchita is possul, cuz it is a cheilek of the maaseh Geneiva and therefore there is no chezkas kashrus.

Not sure how to tie this in exactly, but it fits somehow. :)

A bit off topic,  but several people posted about chilul hashem I'd like to point out something about davening (praying),  in my opinion it's rather to daven solo then making a minyen which definitely brothers all the passagers which causes a chilul hashem.

Sorry to sound offensive, but I dint know if anyone cares about "your personal opinion" about Davening with a minyan. Although this time I think you're in luck. I think עובדי' יוסף had a similar opinion.

You're right. Most poskim nowadays say it's asur to daven with a minyan on a plane unless the flight attendants allow it in a safe area (in that circumstance you have a divergence of opinions). I've been on a number of flights where the flight attendants repeatedly told people to sit down but they didn't listen due to being in the middle of davening. Find me a rabbi that says this is permissible. My pet peeve is when people organize a minyan on the plane when there was enough time to take care of it before (or after) the flight. Some people get hana'ah out of davening in the middle of the aisle at 35k feet

if you believe that the right thing to do is to wear H&J, then if your going to be doing that(holding up the line arguing...) its not an excuse not to wear H&J. R' moshe feinstein has a similar tshuva about someone going to a theatre, and he said that even though if he would mean it leshem shomayim to take off his yarmulke so to not to make a chillul  hashem, then it would be the right thing to do, but since he is doing the wrong thing it is evident that he doesn't care about leshem shomayim, so he should therefore not take off his yarmulke as that would just be an additional aveirah.

That's not my point. My point is it's important to realize what's ikar and what's tafel (possibly important, but still tafel)

Ikar and tafel? I agree. Wearing gym clothes is tafel compared to being nizhar in cholov yisroel which is ikar.

But if a guy who normally wears a hat and jacket puts on a polo shirt and sweatpants, how will that affect his choice to eat the cheese omelette?

True.  Besides, kavana and yishuv hadaat always wins.  I don't understand how aisle-blockers have any of that (unless the minyan is arranged with full compliance from the flight crew).

Wear what you want. I wear a hat and jacket, and if Im not with little kids, I sometimes wear a tie.

When i was in HS, the shmuah was that the Rosh Yeshiva held that bochrim should wear a tie when flying. This is over 20 yrs ago..
