Only noticing it when outdoors.  Still prefer my m8 for various reasons but it's def a nice upgrade.
I miss HTC Gallery and I also liked this HTC internet app. Would have been nice to have them available for download in the store still.
I also miss HTC gallery, as well as the Mail app and the Music app.

You can get all those old apps and more from the following link

Sprint, for reasons no one can explain, offers the HTC Bolt but not the HTC 10.  The Bolt is an inferior product.  Any deals on the HTC 10 for Sprint?

They have the HTC 10 on their site.
Better off buying it straight from HTC though.

How big a deal is the new Type C charger on the HTC 10?  Was going to upgrade, but will I have to buy new car and wall chargers (just bought bunch)?  Or can the old chargers be used but result in a slower charge?  Inconsistent info online.

You will need to change plugs if you're coming from a Micro USB charger. Most phones will be going in the Type C direction. I wouldn't let that stop you from buying the device. And one charger will be included obviously.

I will be moving from the M7 to the M10.  Which is the best transfer tool, the "HTC Backup" feature on the 7 (and I assume the 10), the Andriod back-up or HTC's transfer app?  Thanks.

If anyone is considering this phone, give it a dry run first.  I think it has some layout flaws and the vibrate notification is pretty bad.

Layout flaws?

What's wrong with the vibration? I had it for a few months and didn't notice anything different with it.

The power button is too close to the volume button, and the return button on the bottom left is awkwardly placed.  For me at least.  Vibration is too soft.  I don't use a ringer, so its a pain.

Interesting that you found the button placement off. I found it that it was well done. Hence, your suggestion that one should try it out to see if they're comfortable with it first.

Did you check to see if there was an issue with your vibration motor. I found mine to be a bit too loud, though better than previous generations where it really made a racket.

Briefly, but some yes, some no.

My problem with the power button, especially coming from the One where the button was on top, is that I keep hitting the volume down button instead.

One thing Android hasn't ever been great about is their upgrading software on devices. So many times the upgrades turn into downgrades in areas ( speed, battery etc). This Nougat upgrade is the first time I don't see any problems. Battery seems slightly improved. Phone is smoother than ever. And nougat looks really nice.

The Sprint 10 did. There was a delay. HTC is usually pretty good with their updates (as is Sprint surprisingly enough) but they had to works out some kinks apparently.

An awesome device. Just more than I wanted to spend. Good choice though. I guess it has more to do with carrier than phone manufacturer.

Verizon definitely slowed down the updates, but not with the Pixel.
I was lucky to get one before it became backordered forever.
I got it for free though  :)

Nice. It's a fantastic device.   Makes me smile whenever I actually see someone using one.
