7 Nights at Any Tier 5 Ritz Carlton for $3000
« on: March 14, 2016, 08:58:20 PM »
Stay for seven consecutive nights at any Tier 5 Ritz Carlton hotel for only $3,000, as long as the hotel has reward availability. Properties include the Ritz in NYC, Key Biscane and Naples, Fl. Some of these hotels retail for almost $1,000 per night! I only have one award available, so first come first serve. Thanks!

Gonna be a tough sell here, when everyone can buy the same points for much cheaper and get the SW CP out of it too. Many people signed up for the 140k Ritz. You'll probably do better selling elsewhere.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

This award would cost 420,000 Marriott points. At $3,000 for the award, that's an effective price of .0071 per point. Who do you know that is selling Marriott points for that price? I'm seriously asking-- lowest I found for sale was .0082. Even if someone could buy at .008, this award would be $3,360. Am I missing something? Thanks.

If one buys the points at .0082, and gets one of marriott's travel rewards deals, whether it be UA miles, or SW which would get you a companion pass as well, that is better than what you're offering.

I have to disagree with your assessment. The cheapest Tier 5 option with Marriott's Hotel + Air Package is 470,000 points, which would be $3,854.00 at .0082 per point. Therefore, for someone not interested in airline points, my offer saves them $854. Even for someone who is interested in airline points, 55,000 points for $854 is 0.0155 a point, which is not necessarily a great price, especially if they do not have an immediate redemption for them. The rates do get better as the size of the package increases, but again, not everyone is looking to buy 100,000 points on a whim.

The bottom line is that, for the average person looking to stay seven nights at a tier 5 RC, this is a great value.

I should have mentioned in my original post that Tier 5 is the highest level of Ritz Carlton. This will work for absolutely any Ritz in the world, without exception (assuming award availability).

marriott points is valued at .6  if you stay 4 nights you get 5th free. so you need 60k points a night for 6 nights(7th is free) to equal your offer. 360,000 x .006=$2160

Not quite. Firstly, a night at a Tier 5 RC is 70,000 points per night, so 7 nights would require 420,000 points, taking into account the free 7th night. Secondly, the .6 valuation for Marriott points is arbitrary. Practically speaking, if someone wants to buy these points on the market, in my experience, the cheapest they can expect to find them is .82. Therefore, 420,000 x .0082= $3,444.

If you're selling high quantities of Marriott points at .5-.6, please PM me! Cheapest I've found on the market is .82. And at my price, you're getting an effective rate of  .71.

There are no free nights which apply to a Tier 5 RC AFAIK.
