Price mistake: $4.95 Nielsen-Massey Vanillas Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Bean Paste

  sorry to have missed this. I just finished a 4 oz container i bought on a wim at William Sonoma. This stuff is awesome, and can be used as a 1:1 substitute for vanilla extract. It tastes great and has tiny little beads so gives glazes and icings a beautiful textured look. If anyone is having buyer's  remorse I'd love to take it off your hands

Can someone please PM his/her order details, so I can prove this item was delivered to some customers at the discounted price? When I called Amazon today, I was transferred to a matching department, where I was denied price match for my second delivery, scheduled at  the end of this month. 😢
They cancelled my first delivery on May 5th and told me I have to pay full current price for my second delivery. Not fare 😞

Yes. That is intentional for the next couple months. It is over 80 degrees in most of the USA and melting will ruin the quality chocolate. We made a few big sales throughout the country: BenZ's in CH (4/$10 this week only), $2.99/bag at Glatt Mart in Los Angeles/Pico and Cambridge Farms in North Hollywood, and 2/$5 in Jewel in Chicago.

Stock up and save.

Why was your first delivery May 5th? You skipped your actual first delivery?

I subscribed on March 23 with the first delivery to be by May 2d (the only option I was given at the time. I think the cut off time for a current month delivery are orders placed before the 21st or 22d of each month).
On May 1st I received email "Your subscription item Nielsen-Massey Vanillas Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Bean Paste, 32 Ounce is not currently in stock. The item is being restocked, but your scheduled delivery has been delayed. We apologize for the inconvenience."

And another email on May 5th saying "We encountered a problem with your delivery of subscription item Nielsen-Massey Vanillas Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Bean Paste, 32 Ounce. We tried to resolve the issue, but were unable to do so in time for your current delivery. This order has been canceled. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We plan to process the next delivery in your subscription on schedule."
