Getting a Cheap 800 number
« on: April 03, 2016, 07:15:32 PM »
What is the cheapest way to get a toll free number? Are there any free options?

I do not expect to be getting calls on it except for very rare occasions but need it for licensing.

It can forward to a phone number or I can set it up with an Obi/VOIP

There are places that will give you the number for free but they'll generally get you on the call charges.

Toll free isn't ever free cheap isn't either an option best option is getting from your carrier where you get your phone services. Your looking between .04-.06 per min plus a small monthly fee for holding onto it. 9 out of 10 business starting now do not get a toll free number because of today everyone has unlimited USA calls so no need for companies to pay for it.

I don't really need it and don't even expect it to be used ever. I only need it as a bureaucratic requirement for licensing for my business.
