Amazon gift cards are always almost as good as cash. You can load them to your gift card balance on Amazon and use them to purchase goods from Amazon. Now they got even better as you can use them to buy other gift cards as well.


When purchasing gift cards, you now have the option to use Amazon gift cards, or the gift card balance that you have in you amazon account. Amazon gift cards are usually given out as bonuses in an array of promos and can also be purchased at stores like Staples where Chase Ink cards earn 5%. Amazon sells a lot of gift cards and they also have gift card sales sometimes through their “Deals of the Day”.

I noticed this on Amazon this morning.  Still can't buy Amazon GCs with Amazon GCs but this is still great.

This all came about because someone posted on reddit about how his wife accidentally bought amazon gift cards from staples instead of VGC and he was able to partially liquidate the amazon gc by buying other gift cards. He was new to MS so he didn't realize that it wasn't supposed to work. I guess it helps to have some newbies in this business  ;)

Lol. No. It's just convenient if there is a store that you have a use for their gc's, for example a southwest airlines gc.
