First is listed there as an option, PUTPAC.

VA J would be 64,000. At transferring 1:1.25 = 80k.

It's also listed as an option on UA and AC for SQ R, but it's useless as they don't make it available, so that fact is nearly irrelevant.

It's effective value, as listed before. Whenever Dan makes a list on the site, it's always with effective SPG value too. See the last one listed, how is it 16,000 SPG for HA Y to California RT? That's effective value too.

That's a terrible way of analyzing costs given the overwhelming and strategic preference of keeping flexible points flexible for as long as one can, and until and unless one needs them.

The only way you get "effective value" is if you transfer *more* than you need, except in the rare case where the amount you need coincides with the 20:25K scheme.

If I want to continue to prg or waw . can I use the same amount of points? Same question if I use SQ miles for suits nyc to fra.

VX is very limited with partners AFAIK
