Im want to book two people in Business class NY to Madrid. BA shows no availability but Iberia does. Amex does not have 1:1 with Iberia. What is the best way to get Iberia points?

You need a mature Iberia account, then transfer Amex>BA>Iberia.

Thats the problem. i just made an iberia account today. any other ideas, date of travel is may 28th.

Amex to BA and to Iberia are the same 250:200.
A mature account wont help here.

In other words the simple answer is that if you have amex mr you can transfer it directly to Iberia

I personally found award availability is horrible for short domestic flights!
Has anyone who made a household account with their ba.com account been able to transfer between iberia and ba?

I think only way to transfer IB to BA is to change the household to an individual acct that matches IB name - because I assume BA household multi names can never match IB --yet I could transfer from BA "to" IB

I have 15k stuck in IB that I can not send to BA for same reason and do not want to change BA to individual acct

if anyone has way to go from IB to BA post or PM

Anyway to undo a household accnt?

Or why not make a duplicate account for ba with your name?

1) I would think so - but rather not -I have 3 years b4 the Ibera expire so no great pressure right now -
