I believe any deal which is a very good deal should get it's own thread. Those other threads discuss the deals etc. At least that's my understanding of what Dan wants.

This part of thread could maybe be moved over to there. When it says the deal shouldn't be posted in a master thread, it would make sense to mean when the master thread is a topic and the deal is thrown inside. I.e. If there is a topic discussing good coffee, and a deal comes up for a specific brand of k cups, that should warrant its own thread. If the topic and the subtopic are exactly the same, than creating another thread for that would be pointless and redundant.

Would be interesting to hear viewpoint.
